The Old Harbour Open-Air Museum is a provincial heritage site. It is unique in that apparently it is one of only two fishing harbours in the world that has been conserved in tact.

The roads to Hermanus will be busy this coming weekend, here are 3 routes.

This road is via Sir Lowrey's Pass, via Kleinmond, Fisherhaven, Hawston, and Onrus.

This is the scenic route where you take the Gordons Bay turnoff just before climbing on the Sir Lowry's Pass. Follow the road signs to PringleBay - BettiesBay-Kleinmond - Hermanus ( R43) - Click on the maps below and it will open in Google Maps on your Desktop or smart device.

At the bottom of Sir Lowrey's Pass you do not take the Hermanus turnoff on your left but head straight on to Caledon ( N2). Take the second turnoff into Caledon and drive through the town. The turnoff to Hermanus via Shae'ss Pass is opposite the silos (on your left ). Turn right and travel via the Hemel-n Aarde Valley until you reach the Sandbaai robots. (Wine Village on your right). Turn left at the robots into Hermanus.
