70 Supercars worth over R300-million will be heading for Hermanus on the 27the of December 2015

I love cars as far back as I can remember, been collecting cars from high School.  From the classic 1920's, muscle carsfrom the 50's (Even a 1957 pink cadillac) and a couple of the latest "super-cars".

Car enthusiasts will be pleased to know that about 70 privately owned SuperCars will be heading to Hermanus on the 27th of December 2015.

The convoy will depart on the 27th December 2015 from Cape Town Stadium (10:45) and travel via the scenic route from Gordonsbay - Kleinmond, turn on the R43 to Hermanus and arrive around 1pm for a parade through CBD and Waterfront in Hermanus.  A private funtion will be held at Benguela Cove.

While participation is free, access to the post-run activities including brunch is by invitation only.

Car enthusiasts can expect to see McLaren's, Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches and Bentleys on route. Visit their website www.lastlionlifestyle.com to get updates on this exciting event

Local supercar owners

Established in February 2015 by supercar owner Ish Kaskar, the first enthusiast event was started by few supercar-owners wanting to go for a drive to the Franschhoek Motor Museum.

Kaskar says his database of enthusiasts includes approximately 160 supercar owners within the Western Cape. He says events have an average turnout of 70 supercars.
